Miranda Manasiadis
Miranda has spent the last six years living and working between Wellington, New York and Athens. While in New York and Athens, Miranda has worked as a dramaturg, director, and concept designer. She has worked across a spectrum of performance disciplines, including contemporary dance, installation performance, and script.
Miranda was a founding member of some of Wellington’s most well regarded and awarded theatre companies; namely, Jealous Theatre Company, Open Book Theatre Company, and Afterburner Productions. She has also closely collaborated with some of New Zealand’s best theatre artists.
Her nominations include Best Female Lead (The Great Gatsby), Best Female in a Supporting Role (Ancient Lights), Best New Director (The Singularity), and Best New Work (The Telescope). She was also a part of the writing team awarded for Best Original Work (Flood).
