Ross Jolly is a founding member of the Council.
Ross is a well-known actor in theatre, TV, radio, and film. He has featured in numerous stage roles and played John in the popular television series Gliding On and Market Forces. Ross was a TV programmer, TV director, and drama director at RNZ for 12 years. He has directed over 80 productions for Circa Theatre, The Court, The Fortune, Centrepoint, and Downstage, including award-winning shows such as ART, Waiting for Godot, Copenhagen and Shape of Things. More recent productions include Stones In His Pockets, An Inspected \Calls, Heroes The Winslow boy, Democracy, Mary Stuart, Our Man in Havana, God of Carnage, Four Flat Whites in Italy Clybourne Park, Tribes, The Pitman Painters, A Servant To Two Masters, Hound of the Baskervilles, Last Legs, Weed, The Father, and The Lie.
Ross also works as a drama tutor, speech coach, and role player.
